It has been a rather challenging 2 years — From sitting at home and fantasising about what it would be like to release my own music, to planning, organising, hesitating, getting sidetracked by life and now finally taking the final leap of faith and actually doing it. I'm very thankful to everyone who has helped and guided me along on my musical journey. I know this is just the beginning - and I don't want to jump the gun - but I am very sure that this won't be the end.

I've grown and changed so much since the girl that I was in 2018 while I was still living alone in an apartment at Redhill. I remember waking up one morning, and all of a sudden I just felt inspired to finish writing as well as re-writing the lyrics to Mend which I had previously called Summer. I suppose I had a reason to be inspired back then. I was just starting out in the music scene, and I hadn't secured any bar or event gigs yet. It's funny, but what happened was that I decided one day that I was going to record some very basic - and to be honest, pretty badly edited - videos and upload them onto YouTube just to put myself out there, and within a few weeks, I got a job offer to perform regularly as a singer at the W, Sentosa Cove. From then on, I performed regularly at live music venues for about 1.5 years, up until July 2019 when I flew over to Europe and stayed there for 2 months in the summer.

Before I left for Europe, I emailed, messaged and met up with various indie record labels in Singapore trying to secure a distribution deal for my first single, and when I was in a little town called Litóchoro in Greece, I got a call from Dean Augustine who wanted to know more about me and my music and was willing to schedule a meeting with me when I got back to Singapore to discuss the possibility of distributing my first single Half-Asleep. So, that happened, and I'm really happy to announce that Cross Ratio Entertainment will be working with me on the distribution of my first single Half-Asleep which will be out on Spotify and all DSPs on 12 June 2020.
